How hard is it to move during middle school?

My family mite move an hour away and i am going into the seventh grade this coming up school year (I started pre skool late) and I am really nervous about having to make new friends cuz I have lived here all my life. How hard is it? Also I have icthyosis it is a skin conidition that gives your hands and feet scaly skin so sometimes ppl make fun of that. Would that get in the way of making friends?
