I have been using hair dye(scalp and moustache) since mid 20s.15 years later I am told I am allergic to it!!?

there are dyes that are non allergenic. my wife colored her hair at home for years. she then developed an allergy to the dye, and nearly passed out. she now goes to a licensed cosmetologist; who colors her hair with special dyes. works great.
