I have a red spot on my arm?

It wasn't there yesterday, and it's about a millimeter in diameter. It's red, as I said, and not scaly. It doesn't raise, it's only a discoloration that is not itchy. What is it? Please, assist me. And if you cannot tell me, or need more details, say so and come back to the question. Thank you! (:
