What does this sound like a symptom of? Brown, scaly, dry patch on my leg?

I've had it for a couple months at least, but I've just now started paying attention to it. Do you know what it could be? I have this patch that's about as long and a little wider than my thumb, and it's brown, scaly and dry. Idk lol I guess it could always just be nothing, but is it anything I should be worried about?
