What kind of symptoms do you get when you have eczema on your face?

I've had these two red patches of scaly flaky skin under my mouth for a very long time. I've tried everything and am recently using Hope in a Jar along with Vaseline on top but it still isn't helping. The only thing that has helped is using a tanning bed. If anyone know what this could be or how to get rid of it let me know!
